Alfredo Parody, CFO of Surhive: “BiS SiGMA gave international visibility to Latin American tech talent"

(São Paulo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Alfredo Parody, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Surhive, is very pleased with the company's participation in the latest edition of BIS SiGMA Americas. In this exclusive interview, he explains everything about Surhive's participation in the event and why he believes it is a crucial moment for the Latin American gaming market.

We started by talking about Surhive's stand at BIS SiGMA, and its CFO,  Alfredo Parody, explained,  " The turnout at our stand far exceeded our expectations. From day one, we noticed genuine and qualified interest from visitors, primarily established operators and new entrants to the Brazilian market looking for proven technological solutions in regulated environments.

What we valued most was the quality of the interactions. The Brazilian audience showed particular interest in understanding how our more than 20 years of experience in regulated European markets could translate into competitive advantages for the Latin American context.” 

Regarding strategic contacts and the closing of commercial agreements during the event, he emphasized that " BIS SiGMA was exceptionally productive in terms of generating high-value contacts. We are following up on the initial contacts made with relevant operators entering the Brazilian market and seeking to differentiate themselves with top-level technology. These conversations, initiated at the fair, are in the preliminary stages, with good prospects for progress."

How would you compare BIS SiGMA to other gaming industry shows you've participated in?

BIS SiGMA has established a unique identity that distinguishes it from other industry events. Unlike more traditional trade shows like ICE London or G2E, BIS SiGMA has achieved a perfect balance between the professionalism of a global event and the warmth and dynamism characteristic of Latin America.

What do you think about the organization and logistics of the event?

The organization was impeccable in every aspect. From stand setup to agenda management and meeting spaces, the BIS SiGMA team demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. I would particularly like to highlight the willingness and professionalism of Giselle Bernardino, a member of the organizing team.

The venue selected was also ideal, with adequate space for both the exhibition area and networking areas, allowing for productive conversations even during the busiest times. 

Do you think BIS SiGMA 2025 helped strengthen the gaming industry in Latin America?

Without a doubt. BIS SiGMA 2025 came at a crucial time for the Latin American industry, especially for Brazil with its recent regulatory evolution. The event not only served as a commercial platform but also as a catalyst for constructive dialogue between regulators, operators, and suppliers.

Furthermore, the event gave international visibility to Latin American technological talent, demonstrating that the region is not only an attractive market but also a source of innovation and original solutions for the global industry. 

 

Do you plan to participate again next year? Why?

Absolutely. We'll be confirming our participation in BIS SiGMA 2026 in the coming weeks, with a significantly larger exhibition space. We view BIS SiGMA not only as a trade event but also as a strategic meeting point for the Latin American iGaming ecosystem. As we accelerate our expansion in the region, events like this become fundamental to our positioning and business relationship development strategy.
